Team Tennis
USA Junior Team Tennis provides players the opportunity to compete as a team against other Northwest Ohio Clubs. This league ends with a tournament, in whcih the winning teams advance to a torunament in Indianapolis.
2008 Information
Welcome back for another year of Junior Team Tennis. This year we are introducing a 10 and under and 6-8 year old division. All players will be rotated with all the players that attend each week. We will be using the 36/60 Quickstart format. All matches will be held at Jermain Park on Mondays. 10 and under will play 4:00-5:00p.m. and 8 and under 5:00-6:00p.m. There is a $20 online fee for these divisions and all players will receive a t-shirt. Players must be USTA members.
We will continue to play the 14 and 12 and under divisions on Thursdays at 1:00-3:00p.m.
The 18 and under Divisions and 14 under Advanced will be played on Tuesdays at 4:00pm. All matches will be scheduled at Jermain Park and alternative sites if schedules permit.
All players will be required to have a USTA membership to play in the league. A USTA junior membership is $18.00 and includes Smash Magazine. The 18 and under and 14 and under players, will be required to pay a $15.00 registration fee. The fee includes a Team Tennis T-shirt per player and fees associated with District Playoffs. In addition all players will be charged a one time fee of $25. This fee will be used to staff all of the matches and practices with our Professional Tennis Teaching Staff. The players or coaches must register online with tennislink on the USTA website. All players need to be registered before they play their first match.
